Agra fort entrance Fee

Agra Fort is one of the well known tourists’ attractions in Agra apart from the Taj Mahal. It is also situated on the bank of river Yamuna in Agra, India. You can visit this place and see the fort if you are interested in seeing one of the most robust forts built during The Mughal period in India. The architecture and the fine embellishments attract the visitors.

The fort spreads on a semi circular plan over a huge are of 94 acres of land. You can see more than 2 dozen monuments inside the fort even today. The fort is a wonderful example of the hundreds of the architectural wonders created during the Mughal period. Though most of them were destroyed by different rulers for their own reasons but this fort has survived gracefully.

If you are going to Agra then You must visit the fort. The fort is open from sunrise to sunset.  Agra fort entrance Fee is different for Indian nationals. Visitors from SAARC and BIMSTEC countries need to pay an entrance fee of Rupees 10 per person. Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan and Maldives are SAARC countries and Myanmar, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Bhutan are BIMSTEC countries.

Agra fort entrance Fee for US nationals is $5 or Rupees 250 per person. If you are visiting monuments on Friday then you can buy an ADA pass for Rupees 500 and get free entry into Akbar’s tomb, Fatehpur Sikri, Sikandra, Idtimadi-ud-daula and Agra Fort. This ADA fee of 500 is payable to US nationals as a toll tax levied by ADA (Agra Developmental Authority).

All the children who are below the age of 15 years need not pay Agra fort entrance Fee and get free entrance with the people they are travelling with. The Agra fort entrance Fee may be charged differently if you have booked a tour package and travelling under a packaged deal by a tour operator. Apart from the entrance fee there is an additional fee of 25 rupees which is about 50 cents for each camera that you take inside the fort.
