Bangalore Nizamuddin Bangalore Rajdhani Express train
Rajdhani Express trains were introduced in the year 1969 for providing high-speed connections up to 140 kilometers speed from New Delhi to the various state capital cities of India. The speed varies depending upon the particular track section. This class of train has very limited stoppages along its journey. This also was the first group of trains with all its coaches being air-conditioned. These trains get the highest priority on the Indian railway network. Passengers are served complimentary meals during the journey. Depending on the duration and timings of the journey, these could include lunch, evening tea with snacks, dinner, morning tea and breakfast.
There are two pairs of Rajdhani trains, which ply between Bangalore (Which is now renamed as Bengaluru) to New Delhi (Hazrat Nizamuddin Station) and they ply on different days & their stoppages are also different. Their train numbers are also different. The fares are also different for both sets of trains. However their average running speed is the same for both sets of trains since their Time of Departure and time of arrival both at Bangalore and at Hazrat Nizamuddin are the same. Their routes of travel are also same. Please refer to the table underneath for a clear understanding of the same.
This train consists of three classes of journey viz. 1st AC, 2nd AC, and 3 Tier AC. Comprehensive details of this train are provided underneath.
