The train has new interiors and the length of the coaches is also more than traditional coaches to accommodate more passengers. The new Duronto express coaches are made of stainless steel coaches having several superior features, including control discharge toilet system, improved and superior thermal and sound insulation and centre buffer coupler to run longer trains. For added convenience to the passengers the cost of the food is included in the ticket and there is a doctor on call in the train also in case of any emergencies.

This train has First AC, Second AC, third AC and 2nd Sleeper type of classes.
