Spicejet Ticket Cancellation

Spicejet is completely a ticketless airline and you just have to carry a valid proof of identity. The booking records of the airline are considered for the reference. All the bookings made are non-refundable. The check-in counter closes 45 minutes prior to the departure of the light and if you show up after that then this would be considered as no show and you will not be entitled to any refund of the fare.

Spicejet ticket cancellation is not possible for the bookings not made through the airlines directly. For making any changes in the travel time or date has to be informed 2 hours prior to the departure of the flight. The tickets are non-transferable. This means that the name on the ticket cannot be changed. The passengers have to bear the difference in fair on the new date and time. You can call the customer service at 1800 180 3333 for changing the date or time of travel.

Spicejet ticket cancellation in case of bad weather or any other circumstances that are beyond control is not the liability of the airline. The airline will make all the efforts to get you to your destination.

The airline has all the rights to cancel the flights or delay them without any reason

For the safety of other passengers the airline has the right to cancel your ticket and disallow you to board the flight. Some of such instances can be when a passenger is under the influence of alcohol or any other drug or the passenger is suffering from any infectious disease that can be risky for fellow passengers.

Spicejet ticket cancellation policy can change from time to time and only the current policy can be referred to in case of dispute. The cancellation policy can be easily seen on the website of the airline. It is the passenger’s responsibility to know about the Spicejet ticket cancellation terms and conditions.

The cancellations should be done at least 2 hours prior to the departure of the flight and this would involve deduction of the cancellation fee from the amount paid for booking.

You also can check-in by logging on to the website of Spicejet. Spicejet ticket cancellation is not allowed after you have checked-in online. 9 passengers can check-in at one time through the online option.
